Linda Riebel writes, "A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car) her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Bella."
I had a fawn for a pet. He followed me everywhere and thought I was his Mommy--came in for his bottle 3 or 4 times a day..even into the house if he wanted to. It breaks your heart when someone kills them to eat.
I find this the best picture on this site. You can see the motherly love of the dog. Now this is what I call true friendship, animals taking care of another instead of just playing around.
That sweet doggy face reminds me so much of our Maggie. People on the street often told us she was a ridgeback. She lived to age seventeen. Your photo is beautiful.

I love how the dog looked after the fawn (or Bella). It is so cute and caring, I also feel bad for the poor fawn. :-)
